On January 6th, 2018, the Bicentennial Committee put on a great fireworks show for the City of Cheviot.
On March 22nd Mayor Keller gave wonderful speeches at St. Martin’s and Cheviot Elementary School talking about Cheviot’s Bicentennial. The Bicentennial Committee also graciously donated Bicentennial t-shirts to both schools for all of the children.
Along with the help of our sponsors, the Cheviot Bicentennial Committee was proud to open Cheviot’s first Splash Park at the Harvest Home Pool. The grand opening was on June 4th.
On Saturday June, 23rd, the Bicentennial Committee will be hosting their first Cheviot Pub Crawl! Come join in on the fun! Buy a pub crawl card for $10 and crawl your way to all 7 bars participating, and receive a Bicentennial t-shirt plus be entered to into a raffle to win prizes!
On July 14th, The City of Cheviot went against the Village of Cleves in the Battle of the Bicentennials!
Cheviot Bicentennial Committee float for the Harvest Home Parade came in first place for the float contest!
All of the wonderful sheep that were entered into the sheep decorating contest for the Harvest Home Fair! The winner of the contest was Rita Berger.
