1999 Safety Expo

McGruff the Crime Dog The Cheviot Police and Fire Departments held a Family Safety Expo today at Harvest Home Park. About 10 Police agencies were represented with cruisers, DARE cars, K-9 units, SWAT units, 911 Dispatchers, Mounted Patrols and Bikes. There was even a visit by both UC's Air Care helicopter and the Hamilton County Sheriff's helicopter. Also, there were several demonstrations by Fire and EMS units as well as the Green Township Safe House. The "Most Wanted Band" performed and there was also music by "SwingBlade". Special thanks goes out to coordinators of the six hour event, Bob Uhl and Ed Weber.
